Max Middlewood (b. 1998) is a visual artist born 1998 in the East Midlands, who recently graduated from the University of the West of England.
'My work ranges from symbols/diagrams to surreal creatures, portraits and more chaotic mashups of different images, text and logos. I often aim to cover thought provoking themes and also infuse elements of humor and irony at the same time. A lot of my pieces are like continual diary entries and mini streams of consciousness. However, whatever the style of a painting or series, the thing that connects all my work is a loud, bold colour scheme with elements ‘popping out’ in a cartoonish, eye catching way.'
